1959 Philco Predicta 'Princess' at Galaxie Electronics in Pittsburgh
On a recent visit to Galaxie Electronics on Murray Avenue in Pittsburgh, I came across this beautiful vintage 1959 Philco Predicta 'Princess' television set. It is the same one that is featured on the cover of Elton John's 1981 album, 'The Fox.'
It is a TV that looks like a baby boomer kid's drawing of a TV - pure image - like a futuristic Jetson fantasy.
Just one of many cool toys Galaxie's electro-guru, Vince, has on hand.
You owe it to yourself to pay Vince a visit at Galaxie and see what he has to offer. In addition to generous bowls of candy....Tell him the Vinyl Record Archiect sent you! I'm sure he'll smile when he hears that.

And so much more immediate, analog and neighborhood friendly than ordering on the web. Especially if you live here in Pittsburgh!
