Fifth Annual Record Store Day is April 16

Here is a public service announcement from Vinyl Record Architect: Record Store Day is April 16.

What is Record Store Day?

In 2007, a couple of obsessed vinyl music fans like me decided to celebrate record stores by establishing a kind of holiday around those places we love, like Jerry's Records on Murray Avenue in Pittsburgh, for instance. Since then, participating stores have giveways and specials, and record labels offer all sorts of special pressings and limited vinyl editions. And more....

I focus on the used vinyl myself, but there are alot of amazing new releases and new re-releases planned that you can read about on the Record Store Day website:

I am planning to spend some time at Jerry's on April 16. I'm sure he'll have something special going on. Maybe I'll see you there. But if you are not in the neighborhood, find a store near you and celebrate the black vinyl disk....
