Vinyl Record Architect Goes Video

Last week, my son asks me how many readers visit this blog each day. When I tell him he says, "Hmm...that is pretty good, Dad, but you can have so many more readers if you add videos."

"What kind of videos?" I ask.

"You know, you telling stories about records like you always do."

"Ok," I respond. "How do I do that?"

"Leave it to me, Dad. I'll take care of everything. All you need to do is play a record and talk about it. We can do it right now. I have my camera. Put a record on."

"Well, I haven't prepared anything." I answer slowly.

"No problem, Dad. Just start. It will be great."

So, we do, just like that.

Its a start. Stay tuned for more. Maybe I'll prepare something next time...

Great to see and hear you on the video. Your love of music really shows through. Look forward to the next episode.

I was in Chicago recently and visited a couple of vinyl stores. Always a great way to spend some time. Nothing like Jerry's or Attic Records, but I was able to score several LPs. One of which was my personal favorite Little Feat record, Waiting For Columbus, in really good shape for $1.99. If you don't have that one, pick it up it's a real classic.

Hope to see you at Jerry's on Record Store Day!
