My First Anniversary as a Blogger
Thanks to Peter for getting me started. If it were not for him, I would not have started blogging. But he encouraged me one evening when I was picking up my son from a play date with his son to start. It took a few minutes in front of his computer and I was on my way.
And if you don't like the blog, he is not to blame. It's all on me either way.
And now a year has passed, almost exactly. I have been writing these entries for about a year now. You can look it up. The time has flown by - this bird has flown - and I still like doing it. There are a few people reading it, too. Not too many, but what the heck. A few.
I never liked super popular rock and roll; semi-popular, to borrow Robert Christgau's term, suits me just fine.
And a semi-popular blog is okay, too.
So, anyway, if you are out there, thanks for reading and stay tuned. Keep reading, please send me comments even just to say hello and tell your friends. And buy some records - you won't regret it. They are the gift to yourself - or a friend - that keeps on giving. Or something like that. But, you know what I mean, right?
I am going to take it a day at a time and see if I can do another year.
For what its worth.
